The Center for Latin American, Caribbean, and Latino Studies is pleased to offer CLACLS Reportage Fellowships for the 2024 ‐ 2025 Academic Year for $1,000 each.

The fellowship seeks to communicate CLACLS’ original research data to a wider audience through journalistic-styled social reportage. Fellows will be offered mentorship by CLACLS to support their academic endeavors and promoted to use of CLACLS original research for their research.

Requirements

· Applicants must be full-time students at the Graduate Center.

· Experience working independently with quantitative and qualitative data.

· Training or experience with Latin America and/or Latino studies and previous research experience is highly desirable.

· 1-page cover letter including full name, program, academic level, email address, and a brief description of relevant research and writing experience.

· State the subject that the applicant proposes to write about in a journalistic-style article. Briefly describe why it is relevant and where it will be carried out.
