Reportage Fellow 2024

Ana María Granados Romero is a second-year PhD student in the Latin American, Iberian, and Latino Cultures program at the Graduate Center. She holds a BA in Philosophy from the Universidad Nacional de Colombia and an MA in Anthropology from the Universidad de los Andes. Her research primarily focuses on narratives of
counterinsurgency and national security, particularly in the context of the drug war
in Colombia and Mexico. She currently teaches at Lehman College.
